Our story
The owner of RB Ornamental Metal Services, Ron Brandt, is a high-tech executive who became interested in welding and metal fabrication as a hobby more than a decade ago. He quickly became an avid weekend welder and spent his free time working on projects for his home and garden. It was not long before friends and neighbors came to Ron with their own projects, spurring him to establish RB Ornamental Metal Services. Now, after more than ten years in business, RB Ornamental Metal has earned accolades and loyalty from clients throughout the Bay area.
RB Ornamental Metal Services in now an award-winning business with very satisfied, repeat residential, general contractor and commercial clients including Google, BMW, NASA, U.S. Homeland Security, the Residence of the California Governor, City of Redwood City, City of Mountain View, as well as many familiar restaurants, hotels, bars & lounges and eating establishments in the extended Bay area. RB Ornamental Metal Services has established a loyal following throughout the Bay Area from San Francisco in the north—in communities including Atherton, Menlo Park, Half Moon Bay, Redwood City, San Carlos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Los Altos, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Milpitas, Campbell, San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Santa Cruz—to Aptos in the south and everywhere in between.
Comprehensive services
We service both business, general contractor and residential customers with all welding needs from repair to all types of new fabrications. Repairs include gates, gate hinges, fences, any metal home items, tools, garden furniture, shelving or metal objects of any kind. Our fabrication services can take your verbal concept and dimensions to a scale design (with CAD software) and fabrication services or we can build from your schematics and bill of materials specifications. What’s more, our excellent relationships with suppliers allow us to provide quality materials at highly competitive prices.
Services for commercial customers
We provide moderate and larger repairs and new fabrications with or without specs and drawings.
Services for general contractors
We provide all sizes of fabrication and manufactured “install-ready” projects.
Services for residential customers
As a fully licensed, bonded, and insured Ornamental Metal (C-23) Contractor we provide small, moderate and larger repairs, small and moderate new and/or custom projects. RB Ornamental Metal Services is licensed by the CSLB (California State License Board) License #997516.
Service area/urgent needs
We are mobile. We serve clients all over the Bay area, including the South Bay, East Bay and San Francisco. It is our goal to make working with RB Ornamental Metal Services as convenient for you as possible.
